YOUR ACCOUNT

You may need your own Riwaq account to use certain Riwaq Services, and you may be required to be logged in to the account and have a valid payment method associated with it. If there is a problem charging your selected payment method, we may charge any other valid payment method associated with your account. Visit RIWAQ PAYMENT to manage your payment options. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Riwaq does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults, who can purchase with a credit card or other permitted payment method. If you are under 18, you may use the Riwaq Services only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians may create profiles for teenagers in their Riwaq Household. Riwaq reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, terminate your rights to use Riwaq Services, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

REVIEWS, COMMENTS, COMMUNICATIONS, AND OTHER CONTENT

You may post reviews, comments; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights (including publicity rights), or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam” or unsolicited commercial electronic messages. Riwaq has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS

Riwaq respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your intellectual property rights are being infringed, please communicate with us through the contact information posted on Riwaq website. Riwaq will act swiftly to correct the issue or remove disputed items from its Services.

RISK OF LOSS

All purchases of physical items from Riwaq are made either through one of the courier services available in The Palestinian Territories or through the Palestinian Post Office. The customer can choose his/her preferred method of shipping. Also, the customer will be informed of the rules, cost, tracking information (if available) and time of delivery for the chosen method of shipping.  This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Due to the postal complications in The Palestinian Territories, Riwaq recommends choosing a shipping method with tracking information to reduce the risk of loss and delay in delivery.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Because of postal complications in The Palestinian Territories, Riwaq does not have a return policy. As we mainly service books and publications, there is no Satisfaction polices. Also, Riwaq does not refund buyers for any returned items.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Riwaq attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Riwaq does not warrant that product description or other content of any Riwaq Service is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Please read the description (including size, weight, language, covers…) carefully and inquire about it before you put it in your cart. Please note that there is no Return Policy.

PRICING

Concerning items sold by Riwaq, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite our best efforts, some of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If the correct price of an item sold by Riwaq is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

The price showed on the website for the physical items does not include shipping. Shipping cost will be calculated after you choose your preferred method of shipping and will also show when you proceed to checkout

Your credit card will be charged after you have checked out and proceeded to the final payment.  The shipping process will take place on the next working day. For digital products, the digital product will be available to you instantly with an email sent to your entered email address with the payment details and your account information to access the digital product.

Taxes and Custom fares

For the shipped physical items, Riwaq is not responsible for any taxes and/or custom fares that may be applied in the receiver’s country. The receiver/customer is responsible for any customs fares and/or taxes on the shipped items if there is any. The price for the shipped items does not include taxes and custom fares that may be applied in the receiver’s country on the shipped items.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Riwaq services and all information, content, materials, products and other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Riwaq Services are provided by Riwaq on an “as is” and “as available” basis unless otherwise specified in writing. Riwaq makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Riwaq Services, or the information, content, materials, products or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Riwaq services unless otherwise specified in writing. You expressly agree that your use of the Riwaq Services is at your sole risk.

To the full extent permissible by law, Riwaq disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Riwaq does not warrant that the Riwaq Services, information, content, materials, products or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Riwaq Services, Riwaq’s servers or electronic communications sent from Riwaq are free of viruses or other harmful components. The following terms (“Software Terms”) apply to any software (including any updates or upgrades to the software) and any related documentation we make available to you in connection with Riwaq Services (the “Riwaq Software”).

Use of the Riwaq Software.You may use Riwaq Software solely for purposes of enabling you to use the Riwaq Services as provided by Riwaq, and as permitted by these Conditions of Use and any Service Terms.
