Iyad Issa

Iyad Issa is a Palestinian architect, planner, and artist. His work explores the common spaces between art, architecture and urbanism in the city's landscape and history. His recent work explores marginalized aspects of modernist history and urbanism in the cities of Palestine and the region through research-based artistic interventions. Issa participated in planning and implementing several revitalization projects locally and internationally (UK and Turkey). He participated in the planning and managing the rehabilitation of the historic center in Ramallah and Birzeit (2008-2014).
